“The work carried out in 2005 has shown that contractors and larger farmers appreciate the availability of an extra high performance tractor during peak work periods such as the silage season,” confirmed McElderry’s Fendt specialist Stephen Moore. “In this way they can meet their full work load in a way that is not tying up large amounts of capital on a long term basis. We have also identified a demand for a longer term hire facility of up to 5 years within businesses where the objective is to have 24:7 access to a tractor facility with no down times and with all running/repair costs factored in to the hire deal.” He added: “And this is exactly the type of service we are offering under the new hire arrangements. We are offering access to new 130 plus hp Fendt tractors, the brand that has a proven track record in meeting the challenges facing local contractors and farmers every day of the year.” Stephen concluded: “Our new service is quite unique in meeting the power requirements of the busy farmer and contractor and is available province-wide.”
