POSITIVE TRIAL RESULTS
The recent increase in the use of Yeast Cultures in Dairy and Beef feeding in Ireland led Alltech Ireland to commission a study that proves once again that Yea-Sacc 1026 Alltech's natural yeast culture is as effective today as it was in the past.
The results of the trial performed, at recommended usage levels, by Dr. Richard Fallon and Dr. Bernadette Earley at the Teagasc Grange Research Centre mirror the results of trials run previously at Grange and at a range of other UK and EU independent research centres. The findings demonstrate double the benefits of any other yeast products trials. run under similar conditions at credible research institutes.
The main conclusion was that Yea-Sacc increased live weight gain by 25.4kg more per animal during the 196 day experimental period compared to the cattle not supplemented with Yea-Sacc. This equates to an 11% increase and represents a significant return on investment to the beef producer.
Mr Kevin Tuck Irish Technical Sales Manager said: "At Alltech we are as confident in Yea-Sacc today as we were in the past. Yea-Sacc has proven itself once again to be the premium yeast culture on the market"
The product is also available countrywide as Yea Sacc Farm Pak for ease of application in feed wagon, TMR or top-dressing situations.
